Hello everyone, I downloaded and installed plex server to see its much vaunted qualities
Launching it and clicking on “open plex” there is no possibility to add library as plex always wants me to download the server, as shown in the following images, clicking on the + of “your multimedia files” here is the message
How is it possible ?
I wanted to try it to see if it could be a valid alternative to the Emby server but it seems that plex is much more complicated, moreover, if it works, can you start the server without being registered on the plex site? (as is easily possible with Emby)

Sounds like your server is claimed under a different Plex account than the one you are signed into on Plex Web.
Use Why am I locked out of Server Settings and how do I get in? | Plex Support to check your Windows registry to identify the Plex account that owns the server. You can also use that guide to remove the account info and reclaim it under the account you now use, or you can sign out of Plex Web and sign back in with the same account as the server.
Thanks for the answer, I restored all the features even if I had to delete all the occurrences of plex in the registry, deleting only those mentioned in the reported guide it changed the type of error but it was always blocking, now I will be able to check its characteristics, Best regards
