Plex constantly stops responding - It's not accessible remotely or locally

I’ve been having the same issue and it seems to be happening more frequently. Plex process keeps running, but does not respond. As you said, the only way to restore service is to kill the Plex processes and restart them. Right now, it seems to happen at random times, perhaps once every week or so. Sometimes I am watching something normally, and suddenly the video freezes and I can’t play anymore unless I go to the server and recover. I am looking at the logs and see what I can come up with

clearing some loose ends

This was a deadlock that got fixed as from 1.14.0.5468
