Plex crash live tv

I am using a Nvidia shield (server) and everything is running good but I am having one issue when watching live TV. I can receive all of my local channels using a hdhomerun quatro and can view any one channel. The problem is if I try to change channels while one is playing the channel hangs and eventually crashes. This is the same exact situation if I use my phone to connect to my server (same network) I can view any channel but if I switch while live viewing it crashes

I thought it maybe a shield issue but when I launch the actual hdhomerun app I can change channels with no issues and really fast. I would prefer to use ok except as I already pay for a membership it seams silly to pay for the hdhomerun services too.

Is this maybe a known issue or is my hardware defective or something wrong?

This is a known issue in the Android client at the moment. We’re investigating it at the moment :slight_smile:

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I was not complaining, but rather trying to find out if I did something or not. Still Loving this software!

Are there any updates to this? I’m having a similar issue when trying to change channels, however the plex server doesn’t render the show. If I back out of the show I’m watching I can then change the channel.
