I am able to reproduce this pretty consistently, especially when plex has previously played non-4k video.

On a possibly related note, on some occasions while playing 4k video, the controls become unresponsive for upwards of a few minutes. I will press pause, and 1-3 minutes later it will pause. This effects all of the command available to the remote (including exiting to the android TV main screen). It’s as if all of the processing is going to the playing of the video. On a few occasions I’ve had to completely unplug the Shield for it to respond to user input again. This only happens with plex.
