I have updated plex to the latest version on my ipad mini 6th generation and İpad pro 12.9 inc 4th gen and iOS version is 15.2.1. The plex was working just fine before plex update. However after update both devices started to crash. I open plex and it crashes and turn off. I am not available to use plex on my ipads.
Does anyone knows the reason???

Same issue with me, Plex iPad App persistently freezes and crashes with the latest update.
Same issue here, latest iPadOS on a 9.7" iPad Pro and 12.9 M1 iPad Pro. Both crash all the time now. Downloading anything is very hit and miss with crashes and very long pauses.
I have the same problem on my iPhone Xr. I updated to Plex 7.27 and it’s terrible. Every time I minimize the app and go back to it, it either crashes or freezes. It also then stops whatever is busy casting to our google chromecast. Every. Single. Time.
So after spending countless hours I found that the new Downloader function in Plex is causing the problems. Ever since I started using this feature the problems started.
Deleting everything you’ve downloaded and starting again does not work, you have to delete the app completely (and if on android also clear the cache), and then re-install.
Tested this 6 times and every time the problem was reproduced 100%
The Download function in PLEX is terribly buggy and causes havoc. It should be avoided at all cost!
I found the solution.
Un instal plex client and reinstall again. than it will work. I have applied this solütion to my ipads, samsung tv . it works fine.
