You don’t mention what hardware of software version you’re running.

In my case, it turns out the app for the WD MyCloud Home apparently has a server security certificate problem, which shuts down remote access and server connections after just a moment.
I discovered it after a month of being told it was somehow my fault - my ISP (ATT Fiber) or that it was my hardware (double NAT or that I didn’t understand how to configure it!). I then installed a PC version of the Plex Server on a spare computer and it worked like a charm - despite being on the same network, ISP, etc.
That’s when the Plex guys dug into their side and found the security issue.
I’ve notified Western Digital and Sonos since they both provide embedded Plex apps, but this is something Plex has to fix. I don’t think there is anything that can be done by an end user!
hi its a Ubuntu 20.04 server on a dedi in World Streams datacentre been running fine for a while but all of a sudden a issue but ive got another server with hetzner which is also a issue so i belive it is a plex issue .
Firewall ive disabled during testing and Confirmed port is 100% open 32400
Why is there no support or answer on this issue? My server keeps crashing.
Plex is Currently Unavailable.
Client is a LG TV running Client ver - 5.25.2 Platform ver = 3.4.0
connecting to a Window 10 i5 PC running Plex server Version 1.24.3.5033
So all the latest updates and apps.
Network works fine, can remote admin in to plex, the web interface is up and running. Updates to new shows being detected and added on the sever but no client, TV or ipad or laptop or mobile can connect to device.
Pings to server show it is there.
Nothing was added or touched over night but got the message it was not available.
Yes, I signed out of everything and rebooted server, routers, wifi repeaters everything.
deleted the app off the TV, powered off and re-installed the app, but still get the message.
in devices, unlinked the tv and all other devices, unlinked the server and reclaimed it.
But still keep getting the devices cannot connect to server.
I have googled this answer but nothing works and these forums no one is giving us answers ?
I have had Plex issue free for years but this year it has been one issue after another, so might be time to look else where and ditch Plex.
02 Oct 2021 - adding additional checks done
Reset app on TV, relinked and the server where the PMS is located I went to HPPS://plex.tv/link and entered the 4 character code. The message on the TV changed to screen navigation and the PMS server said @You have successfully linked your tv to your account". YouTube, Netflix etc all work on the TV, so there is no internet issues. The PMS is activity downloading the content I needed and updating the recently added sections.
So no issues with confections to the internet or the home network, as I can RDP into the PMS and control it, watch shows etc but the Plex app on the TV will NOT find the PMS. I even tried adding, in the app, the manual server connection IP address, but that wouldn’t connect either.
Something has changed in the linking of apps to the PMS overnight, but not by us customers.
OK my wife’s iPad can connect to the PMS but my sons and my iPad keep saying "Can not authenticate user, then says “too many attempts to connect”. This issue has been going on for over 2 weeks, where the ipads can no longer connect to the PMS, but the TV issue has only been an issue for 2 days now.
Already looking for alternative Media servers to replace PMS, as its one issue after another and advising all friends and family to avoid it. We just dont get the support anymore.
I have the exact same issue. It was working fine yesterday, i was playing music without any issues. 2 Hours later i want to watch something and it just fails. I’ve reconnected, rebooted, logged out and in again,… It just fails to connect. In the 2 hours between it working and breaking, i havent changed a thing on my network or computer. In fact, i wasnt even at home for a lot of that time.
Any advice would be helpful
I have this SAME issue!! LG TV and all. Any solutions yet???
the plex website on pc is running fine but the app on sony tv, ps5 an note 10 says my server is unavaildable. everything is up to date but can’t connect for 2 weeks now 
Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I don’t see any comment with a solution.
