Plex Database will not always display/see newly installed TV Seasons/series

Dear Plex Forum Members

I am running PMS v1.41.6.9685x, with the latest Plex patch installed, on my Netgear ReadyNAS RN102 server (running OS Firmware 6.10.10).

My problem is as follows:-

From unexpected time to time, new TV programmes (whole seasons, in fact) entered in my plex database will not appear, and so will not play/stream. That is Plex, for some unknown reason, will not install some of my newly installed TV programmes/seasons entries.

This problem used to happen before the plex patch was installed, but since the patch every TV series I installed appeared and became playable, However, since a few of days ago, this “not installing” problem has reoccurred.

PROBLEM SOLVED:-

I now run my TV programmes, before installing in my Plex database, through Hand Brake (Ver. 1.10.1 ), the resulting HB files are visible and playable.
