Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488-cc260c476 for UnRaid
Player Version#: Apple TV 2.18
I have an old version of Plex installed from a plugin that as been depreciated. Recently my player does not display any of my library other than what has been played recently or what is in the cache (I guess). I cannot browse the library from the player other than previously stated. However, if I go to the local web server I can see all my database and browse my entire library without issue. To be clear this is with the current install 1.14…
I have installed a new instance to a docker image with the latest version, 1.19. The new version of plex will work as a new install until I move the \Plex Media Server folders. Once I move the database to the new install, plex does not work, including the web version on the standard port, 32400.
I have a large database and need to migrate all the metadata to the new install. I am not sure why Plex works on the old version via the local web host but the players do not recognize the database.
I’ve been using Plex and UnRaid for 9 years and do not know where to start to fix my problem.
I need help. I am willing to move the database manually to a new install but immediately lose access to the server. I am willing to post any log files necessary, but don’t really know where to start.
Does any of this make since to anyone else? Let me know what other questions you have and I will post whatever you need to help.
Please help.
