Plex disconnecting the PC from the internet

So i am having a random issue where plex somehow disconnects the PC from the internet, and the only way to restore the connection is to restart the computer. Everything else on the network works fine when this happens. This only happens when watching plex, and maybe 25% of the time? it usually happens when a movie is first started, and occasionally happens near the middle or end. attached is the log when the connection broke.

windows 7 (up to date) router is a nighthawk R8000

That does sound like a NAT translation session being closed. Looking online at the router you are using the Netgear seems to close connections on active NAT sessions when set to Secure Filtering.

Go into your router NAT settings and change NAT Filtering from Secured to Open. Apply that and see if that helps it out a bit.

It would not be a Plex problem. It is the network / windows that is going wrong

I switched the NAT to open, and all drivers are up to date. No power saving is enabled on the PC. I understand that its not a Plex problem, but this is a problem that only occurs when plex is being used. PC can be left on for days on end with multiple programs using the internet with no problems. But, something with the way devices connect to Plex cause this to happen.

It happens with two of my local devices trying to view content, and it will also happen with out of network devices viewing content.

Is there another log file which might show more information on what is happening?

You could use wireshark and look at what happens at packet level
