My problem really has nothing to do with streaming what I add to my library (although it did take some time to figure out what goes where so it shows up properly, but that’s my problem, not this problem).
My problem is that when I add a new show to my TV Shows folder, it goes to scan the folder and then starts attempting to scan intros and credits, but CONSTANTLY causes my external media drive to disconnect/reconnect from the system.(WD EasyStore 18TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive) I know it’s not a power issue, as it has it’s own external power source.
I’ve gone into the system to make sure the USB ports are constantly powered on and the system does not have the ability to power them down or go into sleep mode if not in use.
I’m at a bit of a loss here. If anyone has any ideas, that would be great.
