@Volts himself said it’s not really working - it’s triggering HDR for P5 videos, which don’t even have a base HDR10 layer:
Nothing’s fixed - videos either don’t play at all or play tiggering fake HDR (P5) or fake DV (P7 and P8). The only DV files that play properly are DV P5 in MP4 stored with dvh1 (very rare, most are stored with dvhe and have to be modified with mp4box or dovi_tool).
