Plex doesn't add posters to all new movies

Over the past few months, Plex have stopped auto adding posters to all new moview being imported into the library. It’ll do most, but around 20% just gets the generic screencaps as a poster

But if I edit the movie details and go to the poster section, there are loads of posters to choose from.

So what is going wrong here?

It looks like you have an image file next to your video file, which Plex is picking up as a local media asset. Either remove any non-poster/artwork images that live alongside your videos before scanning them in Plex, or disable ‘use local assets’ in your library’s advanced settings.
