I’ve been attempting to use Plex to listen to audiobooks recently and have encountered a few hiccups.
When using Plexamp I will listen to my book for a session then find that my progress was not saved the next time I open the app. In addition, Plexamp doesn’t have great controls for Fast Forward 30 sec/Rewind 10 sec, which makes the user experience lag behind the main Plex app.
When using Plex for Android, I’m seeing a similar issue, except the entire progress restarts from the beginning when I hit play (before hitting play, the progress bar looks to be accurate to the last played position).
Note: I do have the “save progress” setting checked for the library containing these audiobooks.
In both cases, I am usually listening with bluetooth headphones, which may or may not contribute to the issue.
Would love to hear if others have observed similar behavior and to see this get addressed.
