When adding a new friend and wanting them to have access to my library, Plex says it will send them an invite, but I was never asked to enter their email address. How can it send an invite without being told where to send the invite?
Yes, it does provide me with a link to send to them, which I copy and send via my email program. But again, shouldn’t Plex ask for that as I add them as a friend?
If they don’t already have a Plex account you can use an email instead of a username in the first step of giving library access.
If they have a Plex account and that is what you used go through the flow to request friendship and/or give them library access, it will send to the email on their account and they will see a notification in the app.
