Plex doesn't see files on Synology 415+ folder

Hi all,

I have PMS installed on Synology 415+.

Added NAS folder containing movies to the Plex lubrary.

Alas, Plex doesn’t see these files saying “There are no items in this library”.

Checked access rights: Plex has access to the folder.

However, I got another issue: my LG TV (OLED55C7V) can see PMS in the list of available DLNA devices but it says the server is offline. Something that gets me suspicious is that the TV doesn’t provide the custom name of the PMS server but just “Plex media server”.

Yes, it’s enabled.

Interestingly, the Blu-ray player (Panasonic UB900) also says the Plex Server is disconnected.

However, if I install PMS on my desktop (not Synology) both devices (blu-ray player and TV) work well with Plex content

I’ve found this thread that clearly corresponds to the issue I’m having:

The issue is solved by adding LG TV’s IP address to the ‘List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth’ (Settings → Server → Network).
