Plex downloads don’t work onto iPhone 11 (iOS 14.8)

I cannot download anything at all to my iPhone 11 running iOS 14.8

Sync still works but when I try to download nothing happens at all. I can watch the movie I’m trying to download, but not download it. Edit - to clarify, content I already had synced can still be played.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, opened/closed it and tried disabling/enabling downloads but still doesn’t work.

From what I’ve seen there can be some incompatibilities w/ existing synced items. If you want to enable downloads, you should previously remove all synced items and confirm they’re actually gone from the phone.

I have no downloaded/synced items, app has been reinstalled again - still cannot download anything at all.

If I disable download and hit the down arrow it then allows me to use Synch to save to the movie to my phone. The movie does not have a download option anywhere I can see when download is enabled

Any other suggestions? I can’t currently use plex downloads at all on either iPhone or iPad. Synch works perfectly.

Is there some channel to officially raise a support ticket? I can’t see anything fixing this issue on the forums and only had one reply in about a week.

Sadly there’s no other support channels but the forum.
Can you double-check there’s really no synced media or other sync jobs left while using the classic sync mode?

I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the app 4 or 5 times with nothing synced or queued for synch.

Since posting I’ve disabled downloads completely because it doesn’t work, and gone back to which, but happy to try something else.

It also didn’t work on my wife’s phone and my iPad, all using iOS.
