I am just trying to set up my wife’s iPad with a few videos she can watch on a long bus trip ![]()
She’s got a plex account, I have a lifetime Plex pass, she has access to my libraries and is a trusted member of my home group. She has the plex app installed on her phone (iphone X) and on her iPad, and when in our wifi network can play any files from my libraries ion either device.
I have tried going to a video page and clicking the download icon. On my phone it downloads. On her phone it downloads. On the iPad the button lights up for a millisecond, but nothing happens.
OK, we downloaded the same movie to our phones, which fails to go to her iPad.
The Plex > Settings > Downloads section on my phone says 1.8 GB in use 319 GB available.
On her phone it says 1.8 GB in use 45 GB available.
On her iPad it says 0.0 KB in use 0.0 KB available.
The iPad’s settings > general > storage shows that there is 50GB available on the device.
What might be blocking access to downloads on that device, please?
