PLEX DVR Broken

My plex DVR has not worked properly since I initially set it up. I am on the latest build of Plex and am using xTeve with VaderTV. I have everything set up properly. I have filtered ~200 channels for use and have setup the epg data using xepg and all the channels are showing up and working using VaderTVs built in player and another 3rd party IPTV player just fine.

What is happening is Plex is not allowing my to remove the DVR whenever there is an issue. The Guide and Recordings Options never disappear even though I have turned off the DVR between tests. in addition I sometimes get “there was an issue removing your dvr” error message or it just spins indefinitely sometimes it looks like the DVR was removed but like I said it still shows it on the left hand side on the web app. I have reinstalled the server and restarted it several times. I have also reinstalled and restarted xteve several times as well. Somtimes as well it will let me try to add a new DVR but again everything will just spin and never load. I have waited for several hours while the UI just spins. It spins in the IP address search, it spins when loading the channel list, and it spins when confirming and never finishes.

out of nowhere the old DVR disappeared on the left side and it allowed me to readd one properly and it actually loaded and finished without the stupid spinning circle!

now we still need to see if it actually works. Prior to this the guide took over 3 hours to get 10% of it loaded and it even filled over 150GB of my HDD for some reason. Lets hope it works

its still clearly online as I have checked the webpanel and other streams.

This is insane.

upon restart of the Server and Xteve it now shows up again just fine but the GUIDE is stuck at 17%

I already provided guide info so what is this thing even downloading??

just got to 18% after another 20 mins or so.

The initial loading of the guide is a slow process. Took me several hours to load 168 channels, 7days data. Future updates of the guide are faster.

As for xTeVe showing as not found - it seems to do this some times. No idea why but it continues to work fine anyway.

it now says its recording. Never told it too… RIP

alright so it worked. BUT I was missing some channels and had to refilter them through Xteve, Long story short I had to remove the DVR again and redo the entire process from scratch. now we are back to the spinning circle after the channel confirmation on plex for some reason…

Now it is loading slowly but Xteve is giving me a warning that i have over 480 channels which I do not considering I filtered over half of them out. I checked plex and it is reporting around 260 channels. So do i just ignore the warning?

beasically the problem is the terrible UI/UX on Plexs part. Everything is slow and non responsive and it takes several attempts to delete a DVR and or add one. And I have to constantly restart Xteve and Plex to may be get it to work and then it still shows up as device not found even though it is clearly online…

guide is now 34% loaded is going well. Now I am getting uable to tune channel on a bunch of them…

all the channels are messed up. They are all mixed up and have the wrong names. What is wrong with this
