Plex DVR Refresh Programme Guide has stopped working

Been running ok for a few months, but now my programme guide is almost empty and manually trying to refresh programme guide does nothing. What can I do? Plex DVR pretty much useless without the programme guide…

I’m running Plex Media Server on Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.2

Do you have entries like the following in the log?

(I still have about 10 days left before my guide runs out of data but it seems it’s a bit more urgent in your case…)

I have exactly the same problem, the programme guide is almost empty and there are no planned recordings in the Recording Schedule (even though I know I have shows on this week).

I tried manually refreshing in the Live TV & DVR settings, it just says “Refreshing EPG (0%) - Initializing” for a brief moment and then stops. So I tried deleting all my channels, did a re-scan then re-selected the channels and tried again but no EPG.

I have the latest server version (1.10.1.4602) running on Windows 8.1 and rebooting has no effect on the issue.

Checked the log and have this, can anyone explain the cause and if it’s something I can fix?

I deleted and set up the DVR again within Plex, and the EPG has started working. But since I don’t often check the Plex Server, this was a bit of a pain - so any ideas on how to stop the issue repeating would be welcome. Thanks in advance!

I have the same issues as everybody else:

Restarting Plex didn’t help

Removing the epgconnect database files didn’t help. Now I get no channels appearing.

I have the latest version - 1.11.0.4666

I too deleted the DVR and set it up again and now the EPG is working again as normal, hopefully this won’t happen again.

Deleting the DVR isn’t working for me this time. Not after a reboot either. The Program Guide seems to create a lot of Havoc on the DVR, especially for live TV. Should be able to watch Live TV without a guide, but you can’t. :frowning:

I have this issue on both the previous beta release and the current release 1.11.3.4803. Restarting plex and deleting my DVR and starting fresh does nothing.

No new posts by Ninja’s, Team Members or Employees.
Guessing they only fixed eyeq EPG provider in v1.11.3.4803 and fixes for onconnext and xmltv are coming in a future release.

Anyone else still having trouble with this? Stumbled across this forum when I was researching why plex had been performing slowly for me. Currently on 1.11.3.4803. Just deleted my dvr and started fresh. Sitting on 1% initializing for 15 mins or so now.

Was stuck on 3% before I deleted/re-added.

Update 2 hours later on 6%. Should it really take this long?

I have the same issue, rescanned, restarted, limited to HD only and still guide is limited to current day. Refresh stops at 7% with est 276 updates but no content beyond current day.
