My Plex DVR is producing files that crash the Plex client on an Amazon Fire TV 4K. It plays for a few seconds, then the client restarts. It will then play again for a few seconds, then crashes again. Every recording does this, it doesn’t seem to be channel related.
The files play OK-ish in VLC over DLNA. It doesn’t crash, but the audio is about half a second out and forward and back skip don’t work.
Everything else plays fine, it’s just recordings that the DVR makes. Nothing in the server logs.
Seems to have started about a week ago.
I have rebooted the server, tuner and Fire TV.
Playing in the web client looks to be OK.
It also crashes the client on an ancient Philips Android TV.
