Plex DVR setup - DVB-C Europe: Full frequency range

Hi Plex,
I need an option to make a scan for DVB-C Europe: Full frequency range.
The existing options in the Plex DVR setup do not find all my channels.
I know that the “DVB-C Europe: Full frequency range” works as this option exists in the TV Mosaic app (using a DVBLogic TVButler). It finds all relevant channels.
Also, please provide an option to specify custom options (like Frequency, Modulation, Symbol rate).

Take a look at https://dvblogic.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_make_a_custom_transponder_file

These .ini files are located in the Plex program folder
Plex Media Server/ Resources/ Tuner/ Shared/ scanners/ dvbc/ transponders
either find the one that is used for you and edit it or add a new one

Keep in mind that your edited file may get replaced or erased when you update Plex Media Server. So keep a copy of it in some safe storage location.

Thanks a lot for the tip.
I would however also like to hear from Plex when they will fix this more officially, as I’m not interesting in making this “hack”. I would much rather prefer if this were just easy to do from the setup itself.

I certainly expect Plex to provide support on this. It seems impossible to get support through their website.
Are you aware of a better way to get support?

The “solution” posted by @OttoKerner does not work, so I would appreciate that Plex takes seriously to fix this problem. The live tv/DVR function is otherwise useless for me.

The folder with the ini files does not exist.

I got as far as enabling SSH on the NAS via Control Panel, but I need some guidance on the last part.
I.e. how do I access the folder via Mac?

Ok, that worked so far. How do I know which file to edit?

If there is an existing file for your Region, edit it. If there is not, create a new one.

I am afraid it gets a bit too complicated now, so I do hope Plex will fix it, along the lines of what I requested in the original post. I think that will be a better use of everyone’s time as well, as I can see that a lot of other people are requesting similar things for other regions, in other posts. After all, this is core to having a Plex Pass, so I imagine that Plex has an interest in it, if they want to keep their customers.
