Yup working fine here. At a guess you probably put your full postcode in? Try with the first 3 characters, you should be able to then select Freeview.

It doesn’t offer me Freeview, even when entering just the first part of my postcode - SE18. I get Virgin, Tiscali, YouView, BSkyB and Freesat - but no sign of Freeview.

Any idea why?

@mk_matt - same for me have tried numerous post codes (north west) without getting Freeview up as an option. On Freesat at present but not ideal.

Same here too. Everything but Freeview regardless of post code. I can download the other guides but mapping actual channels to guide channels is impossible and results in failed recordings.

@elan do you have any pointers to get the Freeview Channel Mappings (UK) to appear when setting up as currently having to use YouView - Granada (Northwest) and try to map channels best I can. Have tried local postcodes and national - not one brings Freeview (UK) up.

Hi a bit late. Will the Homerun support Freeview HD the website say
Receives DVB-T and DVB-T2 digital TV – Freeview HD

This may sound daft is that minus Freeview HD or includes Freeview HD has anyone been using it in earnest and does it work well? I did read about a problem with DRM I want to record programs using my PC and Plex.

Hi I just used youview in the end, but as mentioned couldn’t find the freeview guide, also none of the HD content will record maybe content protected. Also some channel listings are not available on youview. Anyway I hope this can be updated in the future I know it’s only in beta stages at the moment.

Neither the less you guys are doing a great job, I bought the homerun for this reason, can’t wait for the next update.

Revising this thread…

UK user that’s just plugged in a HDHomeRun Connect = even using 3-character postcode there is no Freeview guide option (normally at this point on competitor offerings you’d pick the correct localised Freeview EPG for your region, hence the postcode input to narrow it down).

Going to give the YouView (South) option a go for now, sees to have quite a few of the channels mapped.

I haven’t tried in PMS itself, but the website suggests they support Freeview (“Local Over The Air Broadcast”):

Tried using postcode N1 and got the options for OTA (Freeview) and various other options including Freesat.

Last post indicates Freeview support was removed by Gracenote and it’s pending them to resolve, and to use Youview channels in the mean time.

@deepseth Thanks for the above - seems spot on!

Unfortunate, though not the end of the world and seems something that Plex can work with Gracenote / YouView / another source to fix.
