Plex EPG missing metadata

I have Enhanced Guide enabled for my DVR but none of the movies/shows in my guide have any actors, or other crew.

I’ve also noticed some items have no images either. Also, some shows/airings are not using a proper season/episode number but instead or using dates.

I do not have these issues if I use XMLTV data built from schedules direct so I assume it’s an issue with the source data.

Unfortunately I can’t just use XMLTV as a source either as there appears to be a rather nasty memory leak resulting in having to restart the PMS service on a daily basis.

Is this a global issue or is it just the EPG data for my lineup?

Plex totally screwed up their EPG when they moved from Gracenote to their new provider on 1-July.

This may well be due to that.

I already reported missing channels at that link (which miraculously they did finally fix). I wanted to see if everyone is having this same issue. If so then I’m not going to report that every showing on every channel is missing the metadata as it’s not an issue with my lineup but their setup as a whole.

I would report it because it needs to be reported against your locale.
