Plex exits or goes to mains screen

Plex Version 1.32.4.7195
Hi, since the last 2 updates when ever I put any show or movie on TV and pause it for more than 2/3 mins it goes back to either plex main screen or exits completely. I am using Roku streaming stick+ (Model: 3810EU Software Version: 12.0.0 - build 4184-50) all up to date. Before it use to go on the plex screen saver (bounce bounce plex logo) now it just leaves me for good :frowning:

Also where are the settings for plex screen saver (time start and choose wall paper of my own choice). Please help, thanks.

I am having the same issue as well. The 7.4.2 roku app is dramatically slower and unstable for me.

You are having this issue since the recent updates of Plex or Roku streaming stick+? As mine started happening after the plex updates :frowning:

I use (Model: 3810EU Software Version: 12.0.0 - build 4184-50) Roku Streaming Stick+ Plugged into my LG TV.

Got no idea what 7.4.2 Roku App update you are talking about.

I disabled the roku screen saver so now plex doesn’t exits or goes back to main page, just stays on where I paused it. Still not seeing the plex bouncy bouncy logo though

I know its not a fix but less frustrating  Hope Roku or plex fixes this, as I am not a technical person so don’t really know where the fault lies could be Roku or could be Plex hmm…!!!

Roku hasn’t updated in months so I think its Plex as this started happeing after the last 2 updates of plex :face_with_raised_eyebrow: I might be wrong :upside_down_face:

  • Remove screensaver per new Roku guidelines.

Any news on Roku Streaming Stick+ update have they fixed the glitch  or no?

I’m having this problem recently, but only Photo playback. Videos on repeat seem to be crash-free. Have you noticed any difference in what kind of media is played? If for videos, then how long until the app crashes? Does a single movie crash the same as a series of short episodes?
