Never had an issue the past. Over the last month or so, when I pause long enough for the Roku screensaver to come on, I can’t just hit play twice (the first play disengaging the screensaver, the second beginning where I left off). Now I hit play once and it opens another app 70% of the time. If it does open the show I was watching up in Plex, the audio will and the video will lag 5 seconds. Anyone else?
It also recently started happening to me.
Last week I upgraded to 1.32.5.7328 on my Plex server, and 7.5.1.8478 on my Plex client (Roku).
Alas, because I upgraded a couple of things at once, I’m not sure which caused the issues.
I’ll often hit pause on music (e.g. when I’m answering a call), and when the screen saver kicks in, it completely loses my spot in the album. It’s rather frustrating. I need to start over at Track 1 of the album.
When I leave it for a long time (such as overnight), the Plex app quits entirely, and I need to restart the Plex app.
Edit: It occurred to me that the screensaver that kicks in is the Roku screensaver, and not the Plex screensaver. (In previous weeks, it was the Plex screensaver.) I’ll try disabling the Roku screensaver to see if that makes a difference.
ROKU screensaver definitely interferes witth the PMS.
Especially TV episodes are affected.
Isssue appeared about 2 or 3 versions back and was not corrected.
Current PLEX preview is also affected by this annoying problem.
They just corrected this issue with the Plex update for ROKU!
