The official TMDB agent in Plex Media Server is recognizing some movies as different movies

The official TMDB agent in Plex Media Server is recognizing some movies as different movies.
My understanding is that the official TMDB agent, which is automatically installed with Plex Media Server when you install it, should recognize the {tmdb-tmdb ID} of the folder first, but as of this time, the official TMDB agent is not working that way.
For some movies, no matter how well I align the paths with the criteria described at https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-movie-media-files/, it keeps recognizing the wrong movie.
If there is {tmdb-tmdb ID}, it should be connected based on that, but it didn’t work.

So I played around with it and here’s the solution I found.

  1. clear the existing agent file.
  2. Download the agent file from Releases · IIeTp/TheMovieDB.ID.bundle · GitHub, unzip it, and replace the existing agent file.
  3. Turn off Plex Media Server and then turn it back on.
    Perfect.
    It recognizes {tmdb-tmdb ID} perfectly.

Actually, it’s weird that it shouldn’t, because this should be the default TMDB agent.

Of course, if there is already a recognized DB, it recognizes it as an existing DB, so I deleted all the existing DBs and ran it, and it recognizes it correctly based on {tmdb-tmdb ID}. It doesn’t matter if it has a Korean path.

Incorrect.

The Plex Movie or Plex TV Series agents are required to use the IMDB/TMDB/TVDB agents.

Movies: TMDB or IMDB
TV Shows: TMDB or TVDB

Suggestion: Restore Plex Media Server to its original configuration (remove the 3rd party agent), name your files according to Plex requirements, use the default Plex Movie / Plex TV Series agents/scanners. If Plex then fails to correctly recognize a media file, write back and include the full path to the file, including extension, and which folder is added to the library.

Even though I did that, I thought about how to solve the problem because many movies kept being mistaken for wrong movies.
What is certain is that the replaced TheMovieDB.ID.bundle works normally. However, the official TheMovieDB.ID.bundle installed with Plex Media Server does not work properly.

You should be using the Plex Movie agent. Not the old legacy agents that are not updated anymore

I already tried using the Plex Movie agent, but the agent had a problem with writing the titles of some Korean movies as phonetic English titles. So I soon gave up.
