I have enabled the app on the ex4100. My roku will even connect to it and tell me there are no files on the server.
Because I cant find the folders on the network to put files in them?!?!

When you enable the Plex Media Server on a WD My Cloud this should create a folder structure for Plex:

Yes I have reviewed the referenced documentation prior to posting, however I have no such interface as shown above.
When accessing the ex4100 on the network I have no interface that looks like the above.
Check out the chapter „The Dashboard at a Glance“ of the 4100‘s manual:

The interface indeed looks slightly different. You should find the folders in the section „Shares“ of the Dashboard.
Above is several shots of what I see. My shares (no plex listed), a shot of the plex server app installed, and “proof” that various devices on my network (my windows PC in this case) can see the server.
However I am still at a loss of were to find the plex folders.
I take it you currently have no content in your Plex Media Server?
If so… can you try to disable the app via the WD My Cloud dashboard, reboot the NAS and subsequently re-enable the Plex app?
Just trying to rule out there’s been some hiccup during your initial setup of Plex. While enabling the app, it should also create those folders
Yes no content on the plex server. As I said in my OP, even my roku can see it on the network and tells me there is 0 content on it. I’ve been trying to get it populated with content I have on the NAS on other shares but have never been able to figure were these mysterious plex folders were supposed to be created for me to use.
Thanks for the help. Ill give it a try this evening and update with results.
Unfortunately no change. Removed, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted. Still no plex folder/share that I can find.
Installed the app from the plex website. No plex folder.
Can “configure” and launch to the plex web account I created from the EX4100. But still no folder I can find to put content in.
It really feels like there is a permission that is not configured correctly and that is preventing the app from actually create the shares.
