CCwGTV - 720p recordings are stuttering so bad they are unwatchable

Continuing the discussion from Release Announcements - Android TV beta: Streaming with the 9.15 beta builds results in video shuttering so bad it is basically unwatchable. This is happening on both of my Chromecast with Google TV 4K devices. No issues at all with casting said video, or watching the content on a web browser or the Plex app. No issues with watching on my PIxel 6 either.
