Randomly, some entire shows when played through the Plex for Windows player will immediately crash the Plex for Windows player, and keep crashing it until I clear Plex for Windows player. Again this is not the server crashing, the server does not go down, only the Plex for Windows client. I believe this not to be a file issue, given that its entire shows, not specific files, and the files play fine in the plex website player. They also play on my nvidia shield, VLC, Windows Media Player, etc…. Only the Plex for Windows has an issue playing it. These shows files were playable before through Plex for Windows, and the files have not changed. When Plex for Windows crashes it puts this error in the event viewer.

I have tried upgrading and downgrading the server, as well as the Plex for Windows application, using many different versions which had no impact on solving this. Again this is whole shows having the issue. Other shows that dont have the issue play just fine through the client. For example, not a single episode of American Dad will play without crashing the client, but all of Taskmaster works just fine. When a show has issues, its the WHOLE show. These video files work in VLC, Plex web player, Windows Media Player, off my Nvidia Shield(which is the not server), etc…., just not in Plex for Windows.
I have attempted to re-encode the files, re-rip the files off the DvDs, etc…. with no luck. I have copied the files and handed them to a friend who also has a plex server, of the exact same version I have and it works on his, although he does not watch through Plex for Windows.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Plex client crash logs would not upload here, and just kept erroring out. I have attached a pastebin with the crash log.
