A while ago I got the email “Switch to the more up to date Plex for Windows” and no matter what I tried it would not show up as a controllable via the phone app or Alexa. So I went back to the years old PMP.
More recently i see the post about making the jump to Plex HTPC as it is also up to date. And yet again same issue it does not show up as a player on either. The remote troubleshooting article refers to ensuring settings that just flat out do not exist.
I know the server is fine because for PMP remote control works great and the server has clear remote settings to verify. But these new apps seem to have nothing I can find along those lines.
