Plex for windows error "This app can't run on your PC"

Hi All

Wondering if there are any minimum specs for running the new Plex For Windows app? I have scoured the plex website and forums but cannot find anything, only that it requires Windows 7 SP1 or later.

I am asking because I tried to install it on my Asus T100TAF and I am getting the message “This app can’t run on your PC” after install. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, all with the same result.

Specs of device here:

It’s currently running Windows 10 Home version 1803.

I downloaded Plex For Windows v1.0.0 from the Plex downloads page here:

Plex for Windows only supports x64

Ahhhhh! Thanks @NewPlaza! That would explain it.

That’s a shame, poor little thing didn’t really didn’t like the old Windows Store app, was hoping this would reinvigorate it and allow smooth video playing whilst I’m travelling.

Download Plex Media Player while it’s still supported.

This one supports only 64 bit as well.
