When watching live tv while recording episodes on the same channel, rewinding using the progress bar causes the channel being played to rewind all the way back to the beginning of the recording buffer. The channel will continue to play but can not be fast forwarded. Rewind using the “skip back” button seems to work as intended.
This is on Windows player. I get similar results with Apple TV player, Roku seems to work fine.

These are the steps used to reproduce this behavior:
1. Started recording shows on channel at 11:15 am
2. Start to watch recording at 11:20 - Pick watch from beginning
3. Watch until 11:35 - after next episode starts
4. At this point the show rewinds to 11:15 - can’t fast forward.

This same thing happened again on Apple TV 4K. Watching live tv for about 2 hours. at the end of that time I tried to rewind and the playback went back to the beginning of the current show. Could not get it to fast forward from there.
I have this problem on AppleTV 4K. I have tried backing out releases but nothing seems to work. I will post technology upon request, however, I mainly wanted to keep this issue open as it is aging without a response from Plex support.
