I have just upgraded to Plex for Windows. Upon clicking its icon, it takes 30 to 60 seconds to appear on the screen. The problem is with my computer, as Plex on my wife’s computer starts up quickly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Plex with no change. I upgraded Windows 10 from 20H2 to 21H1, and that also made no difference. Once the Plex window opens, it is sluggish responding to mouse clicks. I really do not want to reformat my drive and reinstall windows along with all programs. Any suggestions on how to fix it or what I can try will be welcomed.
PROBLEM SOLVED: The problem is with the latest version of Plex for Windows. I uninstalled that version and installed the last version of Plex Media Server and everything is working correctly now. Someday I may upgrade to Plex for Windows after a working version is available.
