Plex forcing transcode on LG TV

Hi,

I’m trying to play a 4K file on a 55UF680V LG TV, but plex insists on transcoding when I can’t see any reason it would need to. As far as I can recall this was fine until recently. Any suggestions?

The file and several others tested are HEVC mkvs which the TV natively supports, no subtitles selected and AC3-5.1 audio or DTS audio. These files play fine on my Samsung Tizen but not on LG. I also removed any TrueHD audio tracks from all my 4K files to avoid transcoding even on my Samsung. Also all the files are approx 33mbps max.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
