I have a doubt about Direct Play on WebOS LG SmartTV. I tried a lot of movies with different containers, but in ALL cases plex is transcoding the container.
It looks like It just accept a format MPEGTS. What becomes Impossible to plays any movie in Direct play. Is that right?
If I understand this correctly, you need to change your LG WebOS Plex client quality to (Original).
It’s already. I change everything to original in settings.
Can you please outline your set up of your network, Versions, OS, WiFi or Ethernet
I use Windows 10. The notebook where runs the server is on cable Ethernet. The TV is on WiFi.
Versions of what?
Server version, Plex LG Client version. You will find these in the server settings Authorized devices

LG Client Version: 4.29.6
Android Client Version: 6.1.3.933
On Android it doesn’t happens. It direct plays a lot of movies. Even the container. Different from the TV.
I own a LG OLED and exclusively use mkv without any issue
Yes, when I put it in a Pendrive, it plays mkv without any issue. But in Plex it transcodes, Idk why.
Do you know were the settings for plex are on your TV

Yes, I already configure it. I put everything on Original in the Quality settings.

I configured it past 2 days. I already tried after configure it, but, it keeps happening the transcode.
