Plex freezes when playing 4k content on LG WebOS after update to 8.3.0

Recently had major update to LG WebOS on LG OLED65G26LA to version 8.3.0-2301. Since then, playing 4k content causes the player to freeze. The server dashboard says “buffering” on the stream.

You can sometimes skip forward 10 seconds and get over the problem sometimes then it happens again after a few minutes. HD and SD content seems to be less frequently affected.
