Plex getting confused over thumbnails?

So Plex is recording House off-air, and I see the following on the tv-shows page:

At first, I assumed it was just the EPG screwing up, and that the video would be Star-Trek Voyager, but that’s not the case. Clicking on and viewing the show ‘Dying Changes Everything’ reveals it is indeed an episode of House.

So, how did Plex get a Voyager thumbnail for a completely unrelated show ?

Looking in the Recordings → Calendar View, I see the same image for the episode (ie: it’s a Voyager image, not a House image), although it recorded 3 episodes so far today (S04E16, S05E01, S05E02). The series-4 image is fine, the series-5 images are from the wrong show (both are Voyager).

Confused :frowning:

I got something similar. DVR recorded Bob Hearts Abishola, but the Plex library thinks it’s a Bob Newhart show called “Bob” s1e1 “Mad Dog Returns.” Plays fine, but it isn’t that show.

I don’t know if it has anything to do with the original problem, but mine was solved by going to “fix match” and choosing “The Movie Database.”

Not the same issue. Plex has a year plus old bug where it just randomly grabs a poster for a recording from recordings at that time slot. I’m guessing DS9 comes on at the same time as House.

I’m seeing the exact same issue.
Is there anyway to fix this?

Bob (Hearts) Abishola
still an issue not fixed yet, Have to manually fix it each week when an episode is recorded hope they fix this soon

The Bob issue is due I suspect to the fact that Hearts is enclosed in parentheses. I bet Plex thinks it’s a year and falls back to the Bob show in the tvdb.

Stared working on its own, don’t know if they fixed the issue or after correcting it 3 times Plex started doing matching it on it’s own
