I have been a very longtime user of Plex, largely with no issues. Lately, my Plex setup has been virtually unusable.
When I put on a movie (most movies are 4K mkv format), the movie tends to glitch here and there with rainbow like or green glitching. It will resolve itself pretty quickly and then jump back to the Plex screen with the movie thinking it is completed. Happens with everything at this point I think.
My setup is as follows. I have my cable modem going into an Eero router, which is connected to a network switch. I have a QNAP server connected to the switch, which houses the server. I keep the server running the latest server software, and usually watch Plex through the Roku app.
I see the same issue arise when I try to watch on the PS5 app or on my M1 Mac.
Any ideas? This has rendered me unable to watch anything on Plex, which is pretty frustrating.
