Plex, Google Wifi, Frontier aka FIOS

Server Version#: Windows Mini PC
Player Version#: Windows Mini PC

Let me preface this with I am disabled so please be patient with me

I have had PLEX for 6 months and have been able to access it remotely. Then I a Google Mesh Network. In my home everything works fine. Server is Ethernet hard wired to one point and the other Mesh points can play it just fine.

But I am getting the “not available outside your network”

I tried
Google Wifi > Advanced Networking >Port Forwarding > Selecting computer used as my Plex server > Selectinf TCP 32400 IN and 32400 EXT

This seemed to last about and hour and then reverted back to “not available outside your network”

Someone please help

There was a thread I participated in years ago regarding a similar problem when it was still Verizon Fios. Might not be the case here but it was a router setting for Universal Plug and Play for “Enable Automatic Cleanup of Old Unused UPnP Services” which needs to be turned OFF.

I’m not sure what it is doing. I use the recommended settings and it lights up green and I think it is resolved. Then within an hour it’s suddenly drops back down to red.

Does anyone know if I will have a problem if I give my username and password to someone to access it at a remote location? Is that still considered remote?

Sounds like you may need to contact Frontier technical support and have them perform that check I mentioned for you.

Okay I think I’m making some progress. Perhaps this is the issue on why it will not remain accessible outside of the network? See the screenshots included.

As you can see it is changing the 68 to a 69. I’m not sure what is causing that. Could that be the issue?
