The match option, to search for a newly added movie doesnt seem to be working. It always said fix match before, now it just says match and when i search for any movie, even a movie already in my database it says nothing found. Please help
Under auto match, it just says plex movie, no other options. I tried google seach but found no issue im experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it just says “Match” that is because it thinks it was never matched at all in the first place, not even to something wrong or partial, so cannot be “fixed”. The option does the same thing though.

Not being to find anything in a fix match search usually but not always is a DNS issue. Are you picking Search Options when you open the match window to search manually?

Thank you for the response. Do you know how I can fix this? I added two movies into plex, it came back with no movie metadata at all when i found the movie in plex server. Its almost like the search metadata option is not working or off or something, do you have any ideas?

In the movie, the 3 dots then under refreshing metadata, match option.
Yes, i pick search options and it comes back no matches found.
I even moved one of the movies (movie file i currently have outside of plex, to my desktop, mind you this had all the metadata for that movie, refreshed the library, added the movie file back into plex and it again could not find any metadata for that movie, that before had all the metadata before. Its almost like the metadata is not working for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Think I found a work around for now, the plex movie agent doesnt seem to be working, i changed that under my library, edit library, advanced and changed to the movie database and seems to be working now. Do you know why the plex movie agent is not working,
Also, under the movie data base agent, the fix match came back. Hope this helps you in troubleshooting and if you could let me know when plex movie agaent is back working, i will switch to that.

What directory/folder do you have set up in the library settings in the Add Folders section.

under settings library there is no add folders section

under movies manage library edit add folders, it shows the letter of two different hard drives that my media are on

I’m also having issues with the Plex Agents, both the Movie and TV ones. Anything going into my Library over the last few days it’s getting matched and when I search manually for literally anything I get “No matches found.”
