Plex has wrong meta-data

Pettson & Findus in Sweden have a different episode order than the german information on IMDB.
Since there is no page to go look at the metadata as there is with thetvdb I can’t be sure.

Since Plex doesn’t at all seem to watch the filename (only the S01E01) the metadata gets all messed up for me.

Plex can only work with what is listed at either TheMovieDB.org or TheTVDB.com
Plex doesn’t use IMDb for tv series.

Well I can’t find it in TheTVDB so what are you using?

If you have trouble distinguishing them for Plex when matching, you can include their respective IDs in the show‘s folder.
Example: Pettson and Findus {tvdb-84994} or Pettson and Findus {tmdb-54008}.

You should also be able to use that suffix to manually match your show.

I can’t believe I didn’t get any hits when I searched the TheTVDb…

Turns out that the first time it was aired it was in the original order, but after that It’s been aired in the DVD order (at least here in Sweden)
