Anytime I watch a show and go back to my Home, recent tv shows will be duplicated and show the (youtube) library which I have, but is unchecked to show on Home. The videos shown also aren’t in that library. I have included screenshots and apple tv log files from before and after.
Do you have “merge recently added” enabled? Do you have other rows from youtube library enabled for home screen?
I do have “merge recently added,” but I don’t have anything checked for home on that library.
if you disable “merge recently added” does it still happen? Just trying to figure out where bug really is and that has caused weirdness before when things are set to merge but also hidden.
Looks like you have at least one other TV library pinned to side bar. Does that one do the same (if also set like the youtube library)?
Also if you don’t wan that library on home screen at all, might set the library setting to `exclude from home screen" (in the library’s advanced settings)
I just unchecked “merge recently added,” and there was no duplicates. I then checked merge recently added, and there is still no duplicates. Tested it 3 times and seems fine, but I will report back here if it returns.
Didn’t bother changing the TV library to test.
The youtube library was already set to exclude from home screen and the content it was showing wasn’t in that library. Hopefully it’s all fixed now. Thanks.
