Plex HTPC - need to reboot server to get playback to start

Server Version# 1.32.8.7639
Player Version#:v.1.55.1.4084-1c93c60c

Since upgrading to the newest version of Plex HTPC, I am getting a large spinning circle and playback error message. Rebooting the server fixes this. But I have to reboot the server every day, before playback will work on Plex HTPC. Playback is working on my Amazon Fire Tv sticks okay.

Not seeing this issue with the new version.

I’d uninstall and download the new version direct and reinstall.

I turned off auto update and install updates manually.

Assume you are on Windows and if so have done all the updates.

I did do a manual update this time, I got an email to say a new version was released and updated it myself rather than wait for the auto update.

I am on Windows on the Plex HTPC and Server.

As for the issue, other than a reinstall, no idea sorry as it works here.

Okay, thanks for the info, I’ll try a complete uninstall and reinstall of Plex HTPC and see if the issue persists.
