Plex HTPC not playing files

Running Plex HTPC in Admin mode, and playing some video files causes HTPC to freeze the video but continue to play audio. Pressing stop works, as it brings back to the selection.
The same video file that cause the freeze works perfectly when playing through MPC, so it’s not a codec thingy…

I am running HTPC on the same physical computer as the Plex Server, but has not encountered this particular issue before.
