Whenever I have tried to open teh desktop version of plex it will not launch on my pc. No icon on the taskbar but task manager says plex server is running. Any help would be gladly received
I’ve had the same problem. It was working when I first installed both Plex Server and the Windows 10 app, but soon thereafter would not launch. I get a blank window with a Plex title on it but no content in the window. The program definitely doesn’t launch for me even after a re-install, reboot, etc. I’ve had some help with a moderator on a different thread but couldn’t understand the response.
I’m also having a similar issue.

My issue is that when trying to launch Plex, it just pops up with a dialog box that says “ERROR” no further info given, just the single word.
Plex is not shown as running in task manager for me.
Since Plex won’t even start, I don’t have any logs to share (unless they’re stored in a different location than either of these) -

I’ve already tried rolling back windows updates, and rolling back the version of plex media server to previous versions which I knew were working.

Super bummed cause I just got a Plex pass, and now the media server won’t work.
Plex app will not launch for me either. I hit the plex icon, i get the system blue spinning icon like it’s about to launch, then nothing happens and it stops spinning.
