BACKGROUND: I was on windows 10 with Plex Media server with access to my ugreen NAS files. Everything worked well! But because I could not upgrade windows 10 to 11 because my computer did not have the TPM, I wiped and installed Mint on the windows 10 computer.
ISSUE: I have been able to resolve most issue, but this one issue I am having a terrible time with resolving plex access to my NAS files. I am able to use the file navigator in my user account to see and access the ugreen NAS, but when I go to Plex to map Movies to the NAS, I have no option to do such. I have used gigolo without any luck. I tried adding //ipaddress/movies /mnt/nas cifs credentials=/home/plexnasaccess/.smbcredentials,uid=1002, gid=1002,x-systemd.automount 0 0 but that did not work either. Bottom line I am able to fully access the NAS from the linux user accounts I created, but through the plex web interface, I am not able to see the NAS.
