Hi

Thanks for all ur help so far.

Another question:
Is it possible to send plex server invites that show a server name or username rather than a email address in the invite email?

Plex Documentation → Remote Access and Server Sharing → Creating and Managing Server Shares

You can invite someone via their e-mail address. If they have an account at plex.tv, you can also invite them using their Plex username.

You can test the process before inviting people.

  1. Sign up for a free e-mail account at Google/Yahoo/Microsoft/etc.
  2. Use that e-mail account to create a new account at plex.tv.
  3. Using the account that owns your server, invite the new account to your server.

A separate “test” account can be useful when testing sharing, remote access, etc. It lets you see what your users are experiencing.

hi yes…but i mean this:

You’ve been invited by “EMAIL ADRESS” to share some media in Plex. To accept the invitation and view your friend’s media, click the following link: [I accept the invitation.]

Their at email address rather have the server name or my personal username in…

The invites I have seen say, “You’ve been invited by e-mail address…”

I’m not aware of any way to change that.
