Problem with friend invites. They never receive share email

I have tried twice sending an invite to a friend and the invite or share was never received. Any suggestions?

Verify you have the correct email address.
(sorry for asking the obvious, but it is not unheard of that users simply give the wrong address.)

Workaround:

  1. Have the user create a plex.tv account on their own. ( https://www.plex.tv/ click on ‘Sign Up’ )
  2. Once it is set up and the user can log in to plex.tv
    ask the user for his/her plex account name or email address.
  3. Take this information and invite it to your server, like this https://support.plex.tv/articles/201105738-creating-and-managing-server-shares/
  4. if the user still doesn’t receive the invitation email, have them accept the invitation via the plex.tv website (also explained in the above link)

Thank you, I did double check and still had the problem. The web app worked and I was able to accept the invitation.
