Plex is not reachable - We are unable to connect to plex.tv at this time. Please try again later

Server Version#: 1.30.2.6563-3d4dc0cce
Player Version#: Web Player

I few weeks ago my Plex Media Server suddenly crashed while I was chromecasting a movie. Since then I’ve not got it to work. The casting connection to my TV ended and the server on my PC desktop disappeared. The only thing left were the default menus that Plex provides like “Live TV, Movies & TV, Discover” and so on. My own library was totally gone.

I tried to restart the computer and the server. After the restart I couldn’t even access “http://127.0.0.1:32400/” at all. The only thing that was showing were “Plex is not reachable. We are unable to connect to plex.tv at this time. Please try again later”.

I’ve re-installed the Plex Media Server two times and I’ve deleted the cache folder. Nothing seems to work. Sometimes though, I get back to where I can enter my security pin to logon and I get to the start page for Plex, but then it’s all the same default menus that Plex provides.

The few times when I’m logged on I can click at the plus sign that says “Your media” / “Your server” or something like that, but that page only tells me that I don’t have a server and need to download it. I’ve tried this too as well, of course, but I get redirected to the Plex website downloading page for installing the software, so nothing useful there.

When I access the settings I can see that both the “Settings” section and “Manage” section are gone. Nowhere can I find my server or create a new server.

I really can’t figure out how to get my server back. I would very much appreciate your expertise and help.
