In order to troubleshoot this problem we need to see your server log files.
I have been having the same problem and I am considering cancelling my subscription and looking at alternatives. Sometimes it all works, sometimes it doesn’t. It is just too unreliable now…
@meminiau - if you want assistance, please provide your server logs.

My last upgrade has rendered my settings page unavailable and crashing.I went ahead and reinstalled 1.10 (non-Plex Pass) and it works again. Is this a bug?
No I did the same and it returned after a couple of hours

Not sure how much help these will be as I reinstalled windows yesterday thinking it was an issue my end thus its a new plex install too. To add connection to metadata agents is intermittent also when the server looses connection.
kegobeer-plex, thanks for responding. I have attached the log to this message. The server is working at present, will I need to add another log when it displays “unavailable” message?
I turned on debug mode (not verbose as it suggests) but have only just done this.
I am running windows 10 Pro 64bit, Plex server version 1.10.1.4561
Ok as fortune would have it next time I opened plex it did the “unreachable” thing.
Hopefully someone smarter than I can compare the log above and this one and identify the problem. I only enabled debug this morning so hope that helps to catch it.
well ive totally wiped my off , and deleted the registry entry and the appdata folder and reinstalled and same problem as above , did any of you up date your windows or is it happening on other formats too ?
same problem here on my qnap nas.
I’m having the same problem my server is running on Windows 10. Is there any update on this issue?
I have exactly the same issue as you. Started two days ago.
When i try to login from any of my local devices i get the same issue. One in twenty times it logs in fine and shows me all my accounts the rest of the time it doesnt and shows me a grey icon and im not logged in to the account.
The other thing i have noticed is that if i login remotely or from the plex website i can access the server logged in.
The issue is only within the local network. This started two days ago on Friday.
I have downgraded the server. Reinstalled it. Created a new blank server. removed all plex files including registry files and reinstalled. The issue persists. It goes so far as when im setting up a new server to tell me plex is down for maintenance then it works again after 60 or so seconds and lets me create the account.
It seems to be a delayed login issue from local computers and the computer actually hosting the plex server.
Another example of the issue is when i try to login to the plex server from one of the samsung tvs. It says server is offline and keeps insisting its offline. Around 5 minuets later it logs in by itself.
I have an 80/8mb line and have restarted the routers and models, all Ubiquiti equipment and the issue persists.
I was going mad thinking it was only me. at least now i know im not alone.
Having a look though my machines event log I found the following warning.Name resolution for the name http://pubsub.plex.tv/ timed out after none of the configured dns servers responded. Event Id 1014 also have the same error again but it points to plex.direct address. Are you getting the same error in your Windows event log?
Interestingly this error doesn’t seem to affect streaming to devices.
Currently Plex is “not reachable” but I am streaming both remotely and locally.
guys i uninstalled and used a old build and all is fine again just had to re match devices but sorted
@REDBULL39 what build did you use?
I have tried 4 old builds till now and none of them solve the issue. The issue is not a local problem. it seems to be an authentication problem on the side of the plex.tv login servers.
if i login through https://app.plex.tv/desktop it always works fine. but when i try to open the plex server though http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html the issue continues.
Same issue here since last PMS update.
I’m really pissed with the lack of communication from Plex staff considering the amount of users impacted.

If that can help anyone, i have managed to get it works again with a rollback from Plex-Media-Server-1.10.0.4523-648bc61d4 to Plex-Media-Server-1.9.3.4290-9798172d4
@Zekinder is the issue still resolved or has the problem come back yet?
